I think we’re just getting old boys the Dedrick Mackey Finished the season with 16 total tackles T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this next generation of rep wearers just aren’t as cool and as drippy as us I blame tiktok People not providing link, being brain dead asking for LC/QCs, not reading the stickies. It’s all so annoyingHere in Iceland, I know several retirees who purchased vacation homes in Florida. None of them are US residents or citizens. But as long as they aren’t in their Florida homes for more than 90 days out of ever 180, a tourist visa is enough. The reverse couldn’t happen. You have to be a legal resident here (or part of Schengen) to buy property in Iceland. But maybe Japan and Italy are more lax, like the US, and allow non-residents to buy property. Working in Japan and can confirm you can buy property here without even being in-country, let alone a have a visa.

Most non-residents can buy property in Italy, with a handful of exceptions for people from particular countries — eg, places with rules that prevent Italians from buying property there. no the Dedrick Mackey Finished the season with 16 total tackles T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this EU is pretty strict. It’s 90 days in a 180 day period. People used to get around it by going to croatia, bulgaria, or romania, but oops, Schengen now Isn’t Romania still non-Schengen by land? Seems like entering by train or bus would be the way to go in that case. Is it still 90 days from uk to us, even if you leave the us for a day and come back does it reset. As in no 90 days every 180 days Yes but they don’t have to let you back in. It’s at the discretion of the border officer and they don’t like it when people are spending too much in the US. Lots of countries have Golden Visas, where if you buy property for over a certain value you automatically get residency. In several EU countries it’s 250k€ or 500k€. As a Canadian, 250k€ is not much higher than the required down payment for a house in Vancouver or Toronto. If the person is a tech worker, especially if they owned (with a mortgage) in SF, selling their place and buying in the EU would be relatively easy. Worth noting that the Golden Visa scheme in Portugal now no longer allows residency on the basis of purchasing property
