There have even here been threads calling her a mean b, saying she never was talented and that production would force us to like her when she was terrible. The second I found out Kandy was cast I knew there would be a moment she was run off social media. She just doesn’t mesh well with the Dearmond dearmond guitar eagle shirt moreover I love this average Drag Race fan. I don’t get the need to spew vitriol towards someone over their performance and behavior a year ago in a pressure cooker. Just…. Don’t follow their social media if you dislike them? I think Kandy truly doesn’t realise how she comes off sometimes. That whole scene is a demonstration of it – Alexis looks terrified when Kandy is staring at her waiting to see if she’ll back Heidi up. I don’t think Kandy even realised that’s her impression, she’s just waiting for the answer.

When Heidi leaves, then Kandy looks terrified. She says it wasn’t that deep, she’s freaking out that Heidi is going to leave and I think at least some of that is knowing the Dearmond dearmond guitar eagle shirt moreover I love this fan reaction that will be coming for her because of that. It really reminded me of crossing the line with a sibling – the omg no you’re ok, don’t cry, don’t tell mum! You realise you’ve crossed a line and are going to get told off for it. Kandy knows from last time how the fans react to that from her, she looked genuinely panicked and I don’t think that was all just her friend leaving. Kandy won my heart when she was asked what she would do with the price money on her original season and she answered she’d buy a boat. She’s my favourite this season since the announcement and I hope she doesn’t let the angry mob get to her. Don’t ruin the pure joy she is.
