I was once in such a financial black hole that I asked my neighbour for two slices of bread so I could have something to put my beans on. I guess she was really asking why I hadn’t popped in for a cuppa, but honestly would you go and visit your friends parents – even if you have known them since you were a kid?!

The neighbour was bitterly disappointed when I returned his angry wife to him, apparently he was in the dog house for being a prick to her. They are now divorced, I think the final straw was when she asked him if her new dress made her look fat and he thought it was funny to say no it’s your arse and stomach that makes you look fat.
