Just because you learned the De’Aaron Fox Sacrato Mouthguard American professional basketball player T-Shirt and I love this word “gatekeeping” doesn’t mean that it applies. I’m not gatekeeping anything. If somebody wants to buy something, then they can. They don’t need to though. It isn’t necessary to buy the device to meditate. I’m saying they can learn to meditate however they want, and not just from this device. It’s the opposite of gatekeeping. It’s gate opening. Whatever gets someone into it but yeah it’s a bit antithetical. But if it brings someone to the party then sure. The challenge is going to be a personal one for the user. Finding something that is helpful but not obstructive or later a crutch is probably the biggest problem. However I’m game because I’m going on 35+ years of practice and having spent 1 year living full time in an ashram and I still suck ass at meditation.
