Edit 2: Since a responder wants details instead of “gut reactions,” I figured I would provide some. Let’s start by looking at an Op-Ed he published back in January. This is one of many issues of appalling ideology currently demolishing the David beckham manchester united merry christmas red devils classic shirt and I will buy this universities and, downstream, the general culture. Not least because there simply is not enough qualified BIPOC people in the pipeline to meet diversity targets quickly enough (BIPOC: black, indigenous and people of colour, for those of you not in the knowing woke). This has been common knowledge among any remotely truthful academic who has served on a hiring committee for the last three decades. This is a massive claim, for which Peterson provides literally zero evidence. This is a theme throughout the article and Peterson’s recent career as he is constantly making grandiose claims about politics and culture but the evidence he provides is anecdotal at best. That is unacceptable from freshmen let alone PhDs. In typical Peterson fashion he also sprinkles in a smattering of insane accusations, also with no proof. Quote:

Professor Mahzarin Banaji of Harvard, remains recalcitrant. Much of this can be attributed to her overtly leftist political agenda, as well as to her embeddedness within a sub-discipline of psychology, social psychology, so corrupt that it denied the David beckham manchester united merry christmas red devils classic shirt and I will buy this existence of left-wing authoritarianism for six decades after World War II. And of course it wouldn’t be Jordan Peterson without bringing up the fucking Bolsheviks. As a political scientist, this is ultimately what I find most offensive in Peterson, namely how he approaches politics and political theory, which is utterly incoherent and laughably unhistorical. He is quick in the article to draw comparisons between what he claims is going on in Western academia and the repression of the Soviet State and thus leftism. After the 1917 revolution, the Bolsheviks, relying on the dogmas of Marx and Engels, also said that they would change existing ways and customs, and not just political and economic ones, but the very notion of human morality and the foundations of a healthy society. The destruction of age-old values, religion, and relations between people, up to and including the total rejection of family (we had that, too), encouragement to inform on loved ones — all this was proclaimed progress and, by the way, was widely supported around the world back then and was quite fashionable, same as today. By the way, the Bolsheviks were absolutely intolerant of opinions other than theirs.
