In cancer-treatment, doctors usually avoid the Darting Player Retro Dart Arrows American Flag T-Shirt it is in the first place but term “cured” and instead prefer the term “no evidence of disease” or NED to refer to a complete remission of cancer, which does not necessarily mean that the cancer will not come back. I ate my crappy lunch from home at work. Then there was a ton of catered lunch leftovers from some meeting. I was already full so I said “If you all don’t die of food poisoning, I’m gonna be so mad.” I’m on the student loan cancelation side of this argument but this is not a good comparison. No one voluntarily gets cancer. Cancer isn’t some choice that some people make and beat while others choose it and struggle. I’m over the whole student loan forgiveness issue. If they forgive them, phenomenal. If not, that blows and I’m sorry the pressure you were put under lead you to making a super shitty decision with your life. But my issue with this is the blatant lack of warning that’s given to these 18 year olds. Like, why don’t we help this kid understand the ramifications of going 50K into debt for a degree that will almost guarantee NOT getting a job? And if by some miracle it does, it’s a job where you cap out at 60K a year? Not teaching the younger generation how to analyze potential consequences is a huge problem that needs addressing. This, and the atrocity that is the business of college with all these predatory loans.

Clearing student loan debt is simply applying a bandaid on a gaping wound. Loan issuing is what needs to be completely reformed so that the Darting Player Retro Dart Arrows American Flag T-Shirt it is in the first place but topic of student loan forgiveness isn’t having to be brought up every 10 years. Not sure about most people, but my high school (and all the surrounding districts) had a class dedicated to personal finance, where nearly a month of it was dedicated to college. It covered loan types, interest rates, payback period (if you earn X it’ll take Y years to pay off), consequences of not paying, etc. Really? That is amazing! I wish more schools did that. I don’t think I ever had anything remotely close to that. The closest I ever got to the topic of finances was in 6th grade where we were taught how to balance a checkbook with our fake class money. It was a neat little experience, but it definitely did not prep me for what we’re dealing with now.
