Gone are the Darth Vader Nurse Shirt and by the same token and extreme focus on cars, now the actors are the cars in the fast series and by focusing on them we see how truly desolate their careers seem to be. I’m talking about the main stays, not the ones smart enough to get out like Statham and Dwayne. Honestly I’d be happy with more of the spinoff. It was stupid and cheesy but they had a fun dynamic and I was entertained the whole way through. Dude was the best thing about Spy, and it had Bobby Cannavale, Melissa McCarthy, and my forever love, Rose Byrne. Yeah they’re dumb, mindless action flicks but hey if they make a ton of people happy and distracted while watching them then that’s a win in my book, especially with all the shit going on today. Plus they make people money and employ a lot of people, so as long as it isn’t hurting anyone in the process I say all the power to them.

How is it sad when they keep making bank, and it’s not like the Darth Vader Nurse Shirt and by the same token and first 3 movies were exactly artforms to begin with. I learned how to do real street racing from the first movie, especially the importance of avoiding Danger to Manifold in my 2 minute quarter mile runs. Never once blew my floor board off… Now it’s like maybe you get a street race, def get a jump from one car into another car from a ridiculous death for sure distance. I guess I wasn’t sarcastic enough in my first reply. The F&F movies have always been cartoon nonsense and the regurgitated opinion that the first few movies were about the street racing scene is just plain wrong. Statham will be back but purely for fun. I think we all know he has no need to be but genuinely loved playing the villain (and the face turn with Shaw opposite Dwayne to an extent given their chemistry). I know the interwebs hoped on the “make fun of Tyrese” train but I feel he has actual mental issues so I feel bad for him :/ What? They joined long after the series had run it’s course and they didn’t jump ship to save their careers, they got spinoffs. They like massive amounts of money, it’s not a big deal. Why are you taking this so personally lmao. Nobody is making you watch the movie if you find it so “sad” that they make them
