This is a possibility I was thinking about. I’m worried that people will not watch other content if they came for the Dallas Cowboys Dolly Parton Live Thanksgiving Day shirt and by the same token and single game. If you do it as a job, at the job we usually need to worry about financial results, getting money, being paid. People keep working even when they need to do things they don’t like, when they are not inspired, etc. So, different choices lead to different outcomes. And you should evaluate what’s a priority for you. Things changed a lot for me over time, for example. Well ideally a job, but one I fairly enjoy. If I wanted a job I didn’t enjoy, I’d continue working in my current career, ya know? I’ll think about this though, thanks for the advice! Yeah, I have a job that I love. But it’s still a job. I need to know my priorities. My YouTube channel is not a priority for my job, I can’t focus on growing it or having the same level of quality I used to have before. Yeah that’s true. I have the room to grow YT right now but that’s also because I’m purposely remaining in the same role at work. Lot to think about though, thanks! I think you either play the game you enjoy and not have as many views or follow what’s trending and grow your channel. Can you do both? Like, maybe have half of the content you post focus on the game that gets you views and the other half be about games that you find more enjoyable at the moment?

No problem! Hopefully your other videos will start to gradually gain more of an audience as well at the Dallas Cowboys Dolly Parton Live Thanksgiving Day shirt and by the same token and same time as posting some new content on this more popular game grows your channel more quickly and also keeps a lot of your already existing audience engaged with your channel. Best of luck! Be veryyyy careful here because this is a trap that a lot of YouTubers I follow have gotten into. They niche down, but can’t niche back up. Truthfully I do the same as a viewer, meaning I watch a YouTuber for certain games/topics. If they talk about other topics I don’t click their videos or even try. That’s because I subbed to them because of this specific content. Now that they arnt making this content I don’t wanna stick around (well given that I am not impressed by their first few vids outside their current niche).
