They don’t show anything you want. And turned millions of people off social media. This has been in the works for decades, dare I say eons? Social media has only been a boon to it. I mean, the shit people believe nowadays just wants to make my head explode. And the scary part is that the people who believe it are people that you know and have probably known your entire life. It has become a disease, and it affects all races, all demographics, and all levels of society. It was 2010, when youtube began to focus on cashing in on content and ads and monetizing channels. Facebook had a similar shift, the timeline update killed the fun feeling i had when i checked on my friends. Instagram simply took the next step from these things, it didn’t start it. 2016 was well into the hold of greedy algorithms and “influencers”. Yall are looking at a symptom and ignoring the root that developed it. I’ve always held it was the negligent death of Michael Jackson that split the timeline but at this point it doesn’t matter anymore. We are living in the Biff Tannen’s Pleasure Palace timeline.

No, i think people used to consider that time earlier, like 2010.
