Am I the Cute Santa Hat Resting Grinch Face shirt and by the same token and only one that thinks the video narrator is a bit obtuse by saying that he should’ve refused to answer questions or not give his ID? As a black man in America that would’ve resulted in the same outcome of not worse. Whilst I agree that their behaviour was unprofessional and unacceptable, when someone is being pointed out as a suspect by multiple witnesses, I get why they at least ask for his ID… The 4th amendment doesn’t work well on hearsay. They need actual reasonable articulable suspicion that he commeted a crime before even being detained. That’s why it was a consensual contact. Think about it. If what you were saying could hold up in court then I could just call on anybody I want and say they did (insert crime). The cops would then freely be able to demand papers on anyone who vaguely matches the description…all the while I could have been lying or just wrong. Any detention wouldn’t hold up in court.

Also he doesn’t want the bill for using the ambulance. At that point he has no guarantee that the police won’t find some way to pin the blame on him for his injury. Black Lives Matter had so much potential and they squandered it all. Should have demanded police reform and got all races on there side with a demand of certain training and new rules police have to follow to detain and arrest.
