Consider that even outside of the Cute dennis the menace shirt in other words I will buy this huge number of casual and unreliable voters/non voters who’s lives would be upended by abortion and contraception bans that around 35% of Republican voters identify as pro-choice. If even a tenth that 35% rallies behind the Dems to protect abortion rights in the midterms, that’s an influx of 2-3 million votes. Assuming around 130-150 million people vote in the House/Senate elections, 2 million votes would be around 1.3-1.5% of total votes and would tip the balance in the Dems favor according the current Congressional polls, so even a very small increase in votes due to abortion rights either from pro-choice Republicans or an influx of new voters who want their abortion rights protected would be enough to prevent a Republican house victory.

This is purely more evidence that these elected officials do not give a shit about actual resolutions because they make too much money “keeping up the Cute dennis the menace shirt in other words I will buy this fight for (insert cause here).” They had 20 years to codify this and didn’t to use it as a tool to get votes and now the Republicans out played them. Come midterms the US will be irreparably damaged and the Dems refusing to go on the offensive is why. This seems like a good move. Make those fucking fucks put it on the record they killed abortion rights themselves, don’t let them just offload the responsibility to their finger-puppet court. Put their fucking names on it, and let them run on that record. So let me get this straight. Michael Cohen was given jail time for lying to a Congressional committee. So how is it that 3 Supreme Court nominees lied in a senate hearing about their beliefs that Rowe vs Wade were was based on precedent and would not overturn it. Someone needs to bring a class action suit against these judges and charge them with perjury.
