We called Bed bath and beyond, they called FedEx, everyone swore to their word but we hadn’t gotten our mattress and we were kinda polite about the whole thing in hindsight and so Bed Bath and Beyond sent us another one. We got that, used it, were happy with it. This was over the winter. So, several days to weeks later we were out for a walk when the weather had turned nice and we saw the mattress package sitting outside apartment 317 instead of 217 (one building over). It had our name and correct address on it and everything. We.rang the bell, spoke to the neighbors and they said “Yeah it’s been sitting here for weeks. We didn’t order it” looking incredulous.

End of. Your neighbor is an ahole but you can still focus on your thing and move on. My parents had a package delivered to the house across the street. Had my dads name and parents address. I walked over there for them to ask if it indeed was delivered incorrectly to that neighbor and the man answered the door, yelled to his wife to ask her about it and she said she just opened it and threw it in the trash because it wasn’t anything they had ordered. They couldn’t bother to check the label before throwing it in the trash. Clearly knowing they hadn’t ordered it. Stupid people. Extremely infuriating. Why is it so hard to deliver to the right address?! I’ve talked to FEDEX a number of times about them consistently delivering to the wrong house, never even driving to my driveway. I have cameras. Thankfully the one time they took it in and I left a very angry note, they returned it -ish. They put it back outside their door. It was very expensive parts for my mini Cooper Dude that shit is on Amazon. If you make a report that they delivered it to the wrong address they will send another
