Growing up in New York, what were your first interactions like with the Count Evey Vote Blue Election Shirt In addition,I will do this police?. Well, I’ve been black for a pretty long time, so I’ve had a number of interactions with the police. In fact, my mother had to have the same talk with me that a lot of black parents have had to have: she got me a book called The Little Black Book: Black male survival in America, by Carol Taylor, that told you what to do. I think the majority of encounters probably went well, but sometimes I hear people say that they confuse frequency with normalcy. It is very normal for [those encounters] not to go well, particularly for black and brown men.

I don’t remember my first encounter [with the Count Evey Vote Blue Election Shirt In addition,I will do this police], but I do remember ones that made no sense, like when a police officer was cursing at me and I was a teenager, asking, “Why are you cursing at me?” I had a mixture of friends, and I remember we were on the train, kind of messing around. I was sitting down, and I forget what happened, but an officer told me to get up and give my friend my seat, who happened to be white. It was very strange.
