I have solo traveled around Europe as a 20 something woman for a few years and can reassure you it is completely safe! We landed in London on Day 1 without booked accommodations (I never booked accommodations ahead of time before). You can sit and wait for people to join you and never go, or you can just go by yourself instead of waiting for X years. I would start out by going on a trip somewhere that’s just a few hours from home. Book an airbnb (I always suggest booking with a female host who has like several, 30+ high ratings) or find a highly rated hostel with a girls dorm. NoLa has some fun hostels and is a v fun place to travel. Best trip of my life was traveling solo to Greece!
