Yup. Doesn’t bother me a bit, lots of careless people out there, covid is still a thing, and I have a small 4yr old daughter at home who isn’t vaxed because they don’t have one yet for children of that age. Plus I am out of the Cool design haunted mansion holiday shirt and I will buy this home more than anyone else so I just use it. I haven’t had a cold or flu or anything like that in a long time, and it just works. I’d love to go mask free but until it’s better I’ll just use a mask. Too many people out there just dgaf and well… I do. Yes, partially to keep myself safe but mostly to be an ally to those who are high risk due to factors outside their control. Yes, because I’ve been dodging COVID for 2 years and I want to keep that streak going. I’d rather be overly cautious than get COVID. Not everyone gets off so lightly with that. Some people continue to suffer after effects for months, or more, and pretty nasty ones at that. Not everyone gets their taste back fully either. Knowing my luck I’d suffer really badly with it and would have to put up with after effects for a long time/the rest of my life as well. I’ll pass on that, thanks. My career and life is around being able to thinking things through, especially juggling a lot of stuff. Long term sequelae like brain fog isn’t something I’m willing to risk for a minor inconvenience. Also, as a middle-aged white guy living in the Southern US, there’s EVERY chance I could be taken for a Republican, and I’m just not having that. No. I’m not convinced anything less than an n95 does anything good against covid, and I like breathing fresh air unobstructed.

I am wearing a mask in public about half the Cool design haunted mansion holiday shirt and I will buy this time. For example, if I plan on seeing my 91 year old mother in law, I will mask consistently for 5 days beforehand. I am a nurse and wear one at work all day, every day. Yes I am, I mistakenly thought I could give it a break, go on vacation and didn’t wear one. Me and my wife caught covid. So I’m back on the mask wagon. Unless required – Hell no. It was uncomfortable and annoying and in the end not near as effective as people touted at the start of all this. People wearing a mask doesn’t bother me in the slightest but I’m done wearing masks unless forced too. Yes I still wear a mask because I hate my face and it makes me not wanna have a panic attack, or snap out at people because of my anxiety
