And yes I get it, “tHeYre nOt tHe oNEs TrULy sTeAlINg.” Okay, that makes theft that ends up driving businesses out of neighborhoods okay? Oh right, y’all just wait for it to happen and then blame “the Cookiestraw It’s About Belonging To Something Shirt Apart from…,I will love this man” for businesses leaving communities out to dry. The funny part is the people who ACTUALLY live in those communities hate this mindset so much. They understand the situation and they know you people are out of your minds and part of the problem. This is all total BS. Inflation has been skyrocketing for 3 straight years and nothing is being done about it. First it was covid, then it was a supply issue and now they’re (major retailers) all blaming it on looters. This will never end and we’re all fucked unfortunately.

Cookiestraw It’s About Belonging To Something Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I work in retail, I’ve never seen theft like this before. It’s because thieves know companies won’t do shit and instruct their employees not to intervene. Everyone’s too scared of potential lawsuits. Hell, we’re told not to even SAY anything to the Cookiestraw It’s About Belonging To Something Shirt Apart from…,I will love this people (but you best bet if I catch someone I will at least call them out on it). Why don’t I offer to bag it up for them and help carry it to the car while I’m at it? Add to that that the police told us the dollar amount isn’t high enough for them to warrant pursuing. This is the sleepy police suburban police department that shows up 4 cars deep to pull someone over because they’re bored. Frequently check out colognes in stores and a lot of the samplers are always missing. I thought they were just making a lot of sales but now I realize they’re just being stolen. I was looking for a particular one and the employee told me “sorry, someone stole it.” I was in another Ulta and they had a security guard specifically watching the fragrance section.
