It’s a shame it took 8 months to finally get there but it sounds like you’re a wonderful and patient and low-maintenance person and he doesn’t earn that from you. (Again I have no idea and only one perspective so who knows what the Contra movie poster design shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this facts are but being charitable here) hopefully the next person earns that from you or you’re able to recognize the bad asap. It’s all very difficult and you’re very busy. ✊ I would ONE THOUSAND PERCENT rather be alone than have to make sure this idiot didn’t die of exposure or starvation every day for the rest of my life. Gurl you dodged that bullet like Neo. As a guy I can make the basics and do most chores. My wife cooks lunch and dinner and does groceries. I can do tech stuff and be our mechanic and our accountant. Separately we would have a hard time with life but together we make an amazing team. Lastly we always thank each other and compliment each other on what we do.

He definitely showed signs of weaponized incompetence. Not being able to cook isn’t that big a deal. Except in a relationship where one partner wants to share responsibility and the other partner refuses to learn. You were with him for 8 months in all that time he never made an effort to learn how to cook anything? I taught myself how to cook starting at 12 before youtube existed, when you had to pull recipes out of books.
