Sorry to be a Debby downer this bank holiday weekend. I’m in my early 30s, I bought a house before the Congrats Jorge Martin Champions Sprint in India GP 2023 Shirt it is in the first place but prices of everything started rising which I’m paying off loans and credit cards (it was a fixer upper). I recently got myself a good job around the 40k mark and was damn proud that I’m finally getting on that serious career ladder. However when I broke down my payslip, I realised I would only have about £150 left after bills, expenses and petrol. The only optional direct debit I could get rid of is Spotify which would save me £10 a month. Everything else, internet, credit cards, food and phone bills are all mandatory. I find it quite disheartening that I’ve worked my ass off building my skills, going through training and finally get to higher paying job to only be left with hardly anything. Not to mention I get taxed more and pay high student loans because of this. Also it seems as if the house needs a major fix every couple of months, another thing my money goes on (money pits!!!) I haven’t bought skin care products, clothes, or anything nice for myself in such a long time, I can’t even afford to buy lunch at work or get a takeaway a few times a month. Again sorry for having a moan, but is anyone else in the same boat? I’m just constantly looking for ways to save or get more money.

EDIT: thank you all so much for your lovely support, this was my first time posting on here and honestly thank you so much. I’ve seen some people want a break down of what gets taken every month. I do have it all written down and might post a full break down to some. So when I bought the Congrats Jorge Martin Champions Sprint in India GP 2023 Shirt it is in the first place but house, it was a fixer up, in terms of the carpet painting etc, but as time went on there seemed to be more and more issues, due to it being an old house. I had to pay £500 recently to get some pointing down, and was told the entire house will need to be done soon as there are so many cracks in the brick work!! Anyhoo thank you guys so much, I’m so grateful. Atleast we have our health and family right?! Could do with a jackpot on the lotto though…It’s well above the average, but that just means our national average is stagnant, and hasn’t risen in line with inflation over the last 15~ish years.
