I think many people realize that life just gets easier with more money. Health is massively important and massively expensive at an exponentially increasing rate, so live to 75 and be healthy or crippled and in pain… My sister makes 35k and “laughs” at my wife and I because we’re idiots for making way more money and are being “ass-fucked” (her words) by paying higher taxes. Look when I voted for Trump it was because I wanted to get rid of all these bad illegals, mooching off us true Americans! I bet she’s the Coming soon Trump 2024 voteTrump classic shirt in contrast I will get this same type of person whose reasoning for not playing the lottery is ‘I don’t want to have to pay taxes on the money’. As if she still wouldn’t be a millionaire after taxes. Also, I’m aware there’s no lack of reasons to not play the lottery. But I swear that’s the dumbest reason not to, and it’s always the reasoning of people like this that are obsessed with taxes to an unhealthy/ignorant degree. In European grocery stores the pricing showed includes tax. I always wondered if we could have a system where all salaries discussed include tax. Obviously you could get even more if you had other deductions. But I think this would help people really understand what they take home, make them less upset about taxes “stealing” their money, and help them instantly see when taxes were increased from year to year I pay in taxes more than she makes a year and then some. I have quite a few right side friends who make substantially less than me but bitch that I am paying taxes into the system. Thing is I’m glad to do it, it’s a pay to play thing in my head. I love I living in America I don’t mind paying my share to do so. I want my Tax dollars to beniffit my people. I want universal health care, if my tax bracket pays more for Everyone to have that I wouldn’t think twice about it. I want everyone to enjoy the same quality of life even if it takes a little more out of my pocket. I think that’s the difference thou, I’d risk a small percentage of peopel gaming the system if it meant the system helped everyone but that’s not the case. We only help people with money, I grew up dirt poor plenty of hungry nights and seeing my parents worry about us being homeless pay check to pay check. I just don’t see how Americans with money let this happen or the Americans getting screwed by the system to defend the system fucking them its like the lower class Republicans have stalk homes syndrome or something. Once you have money we make it so much easier to get more and keep it, we need to balance this out more.

Just go with it, it’s better she thinks you’re a dumb fuck than calling you a brat and always asking for money. I wish I could be in the Coming soon Trump 2024 voteTrump classic shirt in contrast I will get this position of having to pay more taxes. If you’ve leveraged yourself so far that 400 grand you can’t afford a little extra taxes, your doing something wrong. I only make $40.38/hr, with OT (1.5x pay; $60.57/hr after 5pm) I make $110-120k a year and I’m getting butt fucked by taxes. I couldn’t imagine what someone making $400k a year is paying. You make more, you pay more. It is what it is. The people who get mad at issues like these are usually those who would see its greatest benefit. Minimum wage being higher, universal healthcare, etc conservatives have been conditioned to feel like they aren’t poor, they are temporarily embarrassed millionaires. So they need to be opposed to anything that is equitable so when they become rich they don’t have to pay taxes either The biggest argument I hear about universal healthcare from these folks is, “You don’t want universal healthcare. My [extended family member] who lives in [country with universal healthcare] had to wait months to have a procedure done.” Good ole anecdotal evidence. Except in the US, where it will help fund next year’s defense budget increase and will help Medicare pay for further increases of drugs that they’re not allowed to negotiate the price of.
