Hate, hate, HATE the Comedy’s Finest Matthew Perry Edition Matthew Perry T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this middle-management-CEO-kiss-ass behavior that has led a “normal” workday to now be 7-3, or earlier. Everyone in my office starts work at 6:30. When I first started, they asked what time I’d like to start working, and said I could start any time between 6 and 9:30. Coming from a completely remote job, I said 9:30, doesn’t even matter why but I told them anyway, that’s just what I’m used to, I can structure dinner around being done at 6, that’s when I’d like to work. My manager literally immediately recanted and said “well 9:30 is actually a little late to start” so I said 9. So she repeated again that most people in the office start at 6:30 or 7. I don’t her that’s not in my wheelhouse and again she insisted most people start at 6:30 and wrap up at 3, so there’d be days I’d be working solo for over 2 hours, was I sure I didn’t want to start earlier?

First of all, what’s the Comedy’s Finest Matthew Perry Edition Matthew Perry T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this point in telling me I can start any time I want between 6:30 and 9:30 if you want me in the office at 6:30 in the morning? But mostly, fuck the attitude that’s been so prevalent for so many years that rise-and-grinders are the only ones who care about their jobs or have good work ethics and you have to be in the office at 7am before the sun is even up half the year if you want to keep your job. Me too! My hours are 6am-2:30pm. I love it because I just feel like I have more time to do stuff in the afternoons. Although some people choose later hours. We are allowed to work between 6am and 11pm. Unless you are not eligible for remote work than the building is open 6-6. It seems ridiculous OP was told he can choose when clearly they don’t really want them to pick their own start hours. My supervisor is 9:30-6
