Because this fake story was an email chain that you had to forward to 10 people or get bad luck at before Twitter was ever invented. Because fuck the Colorado Avalanche Cale Makar Cover Athlete on EA Sports NHL 24 Official Poster Home Decor Poster Shirt Also,I will get this wagie. Hopefully she put the money in her purse first and pulled it out again to make sure he had to recount the point of the story is that the policy is silly since it can be circumvented. she requested more money than was necessary to prove that point and cause the banks own policy to waste their resources. she didnt switch banks because that is a real hassle to do at the moment and she didnt know the bank had the policy til the man told her. perhaps she changed banks later but that wasnt a necessary point in the story and didnt fit in the tweet.

So the Colorado Avalanche Cale Makar Cover Athlete on EA Sports NHL 24 Official Poster Home Decor Poster Shirt Also,I will get this teller has to suffer over a policy they have no control over? This doesnt send any message to the higher ups at the banks. It just wastes the teller’s time. What would the teller have done with their extra 5 minutes when they can’t leave? Write dumb comments on Reddit? The point of the story is that it’s made up and anyone who posts it needs attention. No bank treats their geriatric population like this or they’d leave. I mean…it’s the type of thing where I could see the bank making the policy blindly thinking it would improve efficiency, and a young hire not realizing it was stupid and following it because those are the rules. a few years ago i went to close a bank account because i was not using it, and so i was just gonna get charged for maintenance costs. it wasn’t just “hey i’d like to close my account” and it was a done deal. they wanted to know the why, wanted to know if i was interested in a different type of account, if i was interested in their health insurance(i’m european, we have universal healthcare, why tf would i bother with health insurance???). could’ve been done in like 5 minutes, took nearly an hour. opening a new account is just annoying, a lot of shit to read and sign, and you gotta bring stuff like proof of address, pay stub and a certain cash amount(i think it’s like €200 now) to open the account(that money will be in the account for you to use a few days later, it doesn’t go to the bank as a fee), and obviously them also trying to rope you into other services they provide
