Demand is not as high as the Clark Cousin Eddie Christmas Vacation shirt but in fact I love this sales team makes it out to be. But there’s definitely some demand. 2BHK are around 50L from small builders, so expect at least 70L from reputed builders. 3BHK was around 70-80L even from small builders so ~1Cr from a reputed builder is expected. There’s definitely movement in the market, people are buying at these prices. I bought a matchbox 2BHK at 75L recently. Anything under the 1000 sqft carpet area is what I consider a matchbox apartment. The one I bought has a carpet area of ~660 sqft. I have same salary, and its difficult to take such EMI when single considering uncertainty in job market. And no partner wants to go for marriage without a flat before marriage.

Every thing has a threshold – I am really curious the Clark Cousin Eddie Christmas Vacation shirt but in fact I love this confidence level of people who take 1 Cr loan when their CTC is only 40 L….that also single salary…. They think once they have the apartment everything is done 🙂 Me and my wife are earning around half a cr. The house that I bought was during COVID time, when the prices were all- time low. The house that I took was around 50lac, now the asking price is around 80 to 90 lac. It is not about investing in a property, but being able to invest in something that will give you a great returns. Investing anything more than a cr on an apartment can be done only if that is your second property or you are looking for high rental income. This still isn’t anything positive because if you do need money and sell the house you’ll be unable to buy another at that price. So, in effect the value of the house is only on paper.
