Charge me $5 and I’ll see almost any damned movie and buy $25 popcorn no questions asked. It’s so damned obvious where they can make the Cincinnati Bengals Charlie Friend And Snoopy Shirt also I will do this most profit. There’s only one theater in town, and it’s AMC. I’d have to drive to the city, which is a 45-minute drive one way, to view movies in a different theater. As someone who lives in suburbs/urban area, I have about 5-7 theaters withing 30 min from my house, this is sad ro hear. I live in Marathon FL. We have one AMC in Key West, and one B&B in Key Largo. But if you’re in KW (basically the end of the world) all you have are AMC without a 2 hour drive My hometown has one theater in a 50 mile radius lmao and it’s an AMC and they are damn lucky to have one at all. They had a Great Escape theater for a while about 20 miles away but it went under ages ago Not that I care though; between covid and shitty patrons the theaters have never held less appeal. I’d love to get an Alamo Drafthouse where I’m at. Literally any degree of bullshit beyond what I currently put up with to go to the theater just isn’t worth it. I can wait a few months. Ok good luck with that. Pretty sure it was established 30 years ago that there’s definitely a price ceiling for media the public will tolerate and anything over it will just get pirated.

Cinema tickets in new york go for like $24-25. They will push their luck and see what people are willing to tolerate. I just pay 23 a month for amc stubs alist and don’t worry about individual prices. As long as I see 2 movies a month, which i do, it’s worth it Want me to never come back to your already overpriced theater? Try charging me more for some tickets and I will just wait for movies to show up on the Cincinnati Bengals Charlie Friend And Snoopy Shirt also I will do this streaming services and I will gladly watch them in my absurdly large TV The worst movie theater chain continues to show they’re out of touch and actually don’t give a shit about their customers? This is stupid given the current prices already. Wouldn’t you have a better chance at selling the consumer on making two 12 dollar ticket purchases than one 18? The film distributor determines the price, not the theaters showing the film. This is why theater snacks cost you an arm and a leg. I’ve been an avid movie goer my entire life. This would convince me to take up another hobby and stop going to the movies. Ticketmaster makes a fortune fucking people. I don’t understand why legislation hasn’t already passed keeping corporations from fucking people like this.
