Lufthansa sucks. IMHO they don’t behave well and have a chip on their shoulder for sure. They were like this decades ago and unfortunately don’t seem to have improved with time also. Not the Chicago Bears Announced Their New Season NFL 2024 Schedule With Class Of 24 Poster Shirt in other words I will buy this first post I have read about their discriminatory behaviour in the recent past. I am sorry you had to go through this. Lufthansa is known to be racist and have a “holier than thou” attitude towards Indian (maybe brown) passengers. Nothing to do but avoid flying their airline, culture can’t be fixed with complaints. I don’t know if it’s just Lufthansa or the attitude of Germans. I flew United first a few years ago from Chicago into Munich. I work for United Airlines and was just spending a couple of days in Munich before I took my next flight. The folks at the immigration refused to believe me despite showing my United ID card. I was taken for secondary questioning. They asked me to show my credit cards, bank balance and what not. They scratched my passport multiple times to check whether it was fake. And all this after being an employee and having an extensive travel history. I have never encountered this in another part of the world.

Thanks for sharing this OP, agreed Lufthansa sucks big time. Sorry to hear abut your experience and hope the Chicago Bears Announced Their New Season NFL 2024 Schedule With Class Of 24 Poster Shirt in other words I will buy this little one id enjoying his/her first India trip. Congrats on being a parent BTW. I usually don’t care about the subtle, passive racism anymore – but it was so evident and humiliating once when I flew along with a White friend and we were sitting next to each other – the whole flight I could totally see the way they treated him vs me. Nothing that triggering but small things like making faces, rolling eyes when I’d request for something and on the other hand being all smiley and happy when he’d ask something – and his requests were many more that day as he was very unwell. You never really forget how they make you feel right?
