See I’m pretty confident that no other country that considers itself western is doing this and I’m honestly pretty ashamed for my government right now… Edit2: I sincerely don’t mind the ChibI fanart patton oswalt cobblepot shirt Also,I will get this downvotes. As our late president Havel said, “Truth and love must prevail over lies and hatred”, and I don’t feel like our government is doing a good job regarding the love/hatred part with their recent policies. Just ask the ChibI fanart patton oswalt cobblepot shirt Also,I will get this Middle East, Africa, Asia and South America how it feels about western policy there. That doesnt mean replacing Russia on the human rights council shouldn’t be done, just the sentence making it seem like western countries are somehow bastions of human rights irks me. Oh, I had a Ukrainian girlfriend. She tried to immigrate to multiple countries to escape poverty. Want to hear the shocking part? Czech Republic was the country she had the largest chance to successfully immigrate because apparently, our immigration laws are the least stringent. So maybe Czech Republic should be on the council? It’s not right we have some uniquely evil policies. Our human development index, freedom index, etc… are all easily in the top 15-30 depending on the index, with most European countries below us.
