I know this is off topic, but you have a beautiful family and you’re an amazing plant mom too! I hope everything goes well for you and your health! You can get medical abortion medication from aidaccess.org that works if you’re ten weeks pregnant or less. It’s not too late. I believe the Chet Holmgren Thunder Basketball Classic T-Shirt also I will do this $10,000 applies to people who help a woman get an abortion. Like, if your dad drive you to the airport, he can be sued. I read last year the expecting women cannot be sued. If people are trying to figure it out, I’m willing to chip in for a flight to NM. Strictly for visiting that beautiful state to relieve your stress and nothing else, obviously. Reading through this post… I’m so happy for the support and kindness from women and men. I hope you are able to get what you need. My heart goes out to you and your family. Good luck! I’m sorry you’re going through this by the way, and I hate that your boss is the thing that sticks out the most. I guess it’s because I’m no longer shocked by the restrictions of your rights over your own body because it’s not surprising anymore. The state of Texas made provisions in their anti-abortion law that private citizens could basically prosecute and convict women who go out of state or otherwise obtain an abortion after 6 weeks gestation. It’s a bounty system and a system meant to punish women in a way that the government can’t (but will be able to in the future with no Roe v Wade). Because of the Texas law that makes it possible for anyone who sue anyone who has had, or in any way facilitates another person having an abortion, for 10k bucks, and the person launching the suit can recover courts costs but the person being sued never can.

wow, thank you for sharing. Its truly horrific that the Chet Holmgren Thunder Basketball Classic T-Shirt also I will do this government would put the lives of so many women and families at risk of hardship and even death this way. This is exactly what scares me about everything that’s happening. If, on the off chance that I DO end up pregnant, I may not be able to seek care because these assholes don’t think I have a right to my own being. I don’t have any advice. I just wanted to say that I’m sorry you’re in this horribly shitty situation. I hope you find the resources you need. get your husband/SO to take care of the toddler and help out with the travel and find a solution for this, you shouldn’t worry so much in your situation and do all of this yourself Please vote in your interest and the interest of other women, if you don’t already. Put people in power who will protect your rights so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I came to this post after you’d found your solution – I am SO thankful you did. If you hadn’t I would be on deck to help in any way I could. This is such a dystopian time and in addition to helping one another we need to do all we can to fight back. My heart is with you. >I can’t tell my boss why I’m leaving either because he would have the right to sue me. For no less than $10,000. I only say this to help with your piece of mind, but they can only sue people who help you, not you directly. The patient cannot directly be sued under the Texas law. Obviously there are still other risks to telling your boss if you live in Texas, but you don’t need to worry about being sued for $10k by him if that was your only barrier.
