The game has good bones. The mechanics, animations, sound & graphics are all very well done. Gameplay is familiar, with some new additions that they borrowed from other popular games. It does feel shallow or empty in some areas and needs more fleshing out. I have full confidence that Blizzard will keep adding fun & interesting content, so this isn’t something I am too concerned about. I am at level 63 and am glad that I can skip the Cheshire’s Tea we are all mad here Shirt Apart from…,I will love this campaign and pretend that it never happened. I honestly want to forget all about, full of plotholes and poor writing, and a slap in the face ending Literally 1-63 every boss uses some of the above, it just makes the boss fights very “meh” – other games managed to have more varying mechanics to keep it interesting, D4 bosses feel very lazy

The skill tree stopping at level 50 basically means you use the Cheshire’s Tea we are all mad here Shirt Apart from…,I will love this same build, same attacks since early game. It just feels like there is no progression to skills at all. The gear progression also feels underwhelming, aspects help a bit, and paragon is nice. But there is very little excitement to new gear drops. I am going to unlock WT4 this weekend and push to 100 but now that I am through the honeymoon phase the game has lost a lot of it’s shine I’m having a lot of fun, but I really preferred the leveling and skill system of D3. I never feel like I’m suddenly very powerful with a new item I find or skill I obtain. I love it. Made a barb first. She is level 41. Then today I made a sorcerer. She died at level 27. Then I made a necro. She died at level 25. Then I made a rogue….she died at level 15. Im back at playing my barb. I felt pretty weak as a necro, every fight seems like a slog and I’m chugging potions left and right. It reminded me of how weak necros were in D2 but I thought after D3 necros would be awesome. Everyone was saying corpse explosion hits like a truck yet mine only does 400-500 damage while my bone spear does 3k+ (bone is r7 and corpse is r6 atm), but when I switch it to the darkness pool it shoots up to 2.1k over 6 seconds, seems bugged. I’ve gotten used to my necro just constantly saying ‘not enough essence’ at this point. Started a sorc instead and it’s night and day difference.
