When my wife moved in with me, 6 months into our relationship, I learned almost immediately that women, or at the Chasing you like a shot of whisky shirt in contrast I will get this very least my wife, are just like men but with their priorities slightly differently aligned. Like we all do the same exact things, just with slightly different approaches and executions, blew my freaking mind. This was also like 12 years ago, so what do I know. You know how when you’re watching a movie you like and somebody keeps interrupting and breaking your suspension of disbelief? Comments like “that could never happen in real life” or “why didn’t X just do this, we could have avoided all these problems”. That’s what it’s like when your girlfriend is complaining and you keep trying to offer solutions instead of just hearing them out. Just shut up and listen, I promise it’ll be better for you both.

Ladies are way more open about their sex lives to each other than guys. You don’t always need to find a solution, just give an ear. Girls really emphasize planning ahead and sorting things out ahead of time. I didn’t realize this was such a big issue but it is, they break up with you for that shit lol Don’t think this is a gender thing lol. Planning ahead is a very important life skill Nothing infuriates me as much as my boyfriend just. living. I want to learn that shit, too! I literally cannot exist without thinking about tomorrow‘s dinner, the Chasing you like a shot of whisky shirt in contrast I will get this upcoming birthdays, vacation time, when what goes bad in the fridge and what I can do with it to avoid tossing too much, when to exchange the towels, when to wash what clothes etc. etc. do we? my adhd ass can’t relate to that one at all ? I learned that girls find you attractive mostly for what you do and how you do it, rather than how you look. Guys are more visual in that sense. I’ve been with girls during periods when I thought I looked like shit but I still managed, somehow, to be attractive in their eyes just from the way I treated others and the way I made them laugh. We women definitely have a visual element to our attraction, but at least as far as I’m concerned, it’s more of a pass/fail thing. A guy is either fine or unattractive. As long as there’s not something unattractive about his looks/personal hygiene, then his treatment of me is so much more important than his looks.
