Its def Hyderabad ,less traffic compared to all other cities, cheaper but really good food, even the Chasing Unicorns Shirt Apart from…,I will love this climate is kinda good Mumbai. I’m biased since I grew up here and have money, but in terms of culture, people, access to cool events/subcultures, and feeling like a truly cosmopolitan city, nowhere else in India comes close IMO. There are def issues with infra/air quality/traffic and weather, but they’re better than other metros and even tier 2/3 cities have their own issues with infra, accessibility, nativism, and a depressing urban landscape. The only major negative for me is the difficulty in getting out of the city to hike/surf/dive etc. That said, there are a number of tier 2/3 cities in this thread (Vizag, Kochi, Indore, Trivandrum) that I haven’t been to and seem interesting to visit/live in. Mumbai. Efficient commute ,Communal harmony, Most of the festivals of india are celebrated here on large scale ,Safe for women, People are kind and not entitled ,Crime rate is quite low when compared to other places, Lots of opportunities ,Finance capital of India, And the list goes on.

Unfortunately public transport in India is no good, be it tier 1 or 2 city. People that have to report at offices are shit out of options, but for the Chasing Unicorns Shirt Apart from…,I will love this people who can negotiate, a tier 1 city just doesn’t make sense anymore. I live in a prime area in a tier 2 city (Vadodara.) We have good food, my office is like a kilometre away (with permanent work from home option,) I can be in any corner of the city including airport in less than 20 minutes. I can afford a good house in any metro city, but I have the freedom to breathe here. Wouldn’t trade all this for anything else. No, just no. Mumbai is liveable if you are rich AF i.e. higher than 2.5L per month and that too only for couples. If kids get added the number increases exponentially. Nah bro my family income is less than 2.5lac pm and we are doing quite well. It depends on the place where you live.
