The funny thing was it wasn’t only one officer literally every officer I spoke to told the Charles Oliveira UFC Lightweight Champion T-Shirt But I will love this same thing and cursed my in kannada and kept on berating me right from constable to sho Exactly, this whole go back to your hometown thing is so stupid with people gatekeeping their cities like they own them or built them. This is the unfortunate reality. Power corrupts. At all levels, by varying degrees. Not just cops, It’s human nature. Anyone can be at either end of this ruckus. On a lighter note : If only you had thrown a ball at him and he had chucked an onion at you!! Batting skill and chopping skills could have been tested. TW: Physical assault. Op you did the right thing and let me tell you why. My mom told me about this road rage story that happened a few years ago around BOSCH Adugodi where a man (call him X) who was almost close to his retirement and returning from an award function was so brutally murdered by a driver (call him Y) in front of his own office gate. So X like I said was returning from a function and was waiting in a signal for his u-turn and after the green signal Y in front of him didn’t move at all and made X miss his U turn but he waited out until the next and Y still didn’t budge. This was when X and everyone behind started getting restless and they honk their ears off. So now Y gets out of his car, comes to the window of X and asks him to lower it down. He then began violently punching him to his death. Yes, he passed away right there because of the force and the number of punches. And all this happened in broad daylight. Obviously after this they found the driver who did this because his gf and him were in a quarrel and she wasn’t responding to his calls… Honestly baffles me how some people are allowed to drive with all this rage inside of them. They truly come with the most unpredictable psyche. So never ever lower your windows when someone asks you to and definitely get a dash cam. Sorry for the long story.

I have heard things like this which is why I carry a knife to scare away anyone who might try to force me out of my car. But never expected a police officer to behave like this especially someone who was off duty. Everyone is making a big deal out of the Charles Oliveira UFC Lightweight Champion T-Shirt But I will love this cop thing . OP was not at fault for showing the knife to the off duty piece of shit . You can beat the shit out of a cop on duty if he acts against the law and it threatens you. Your life was in threat. Where were you at wrong then? You are in the wrong because you are weak , without power in India especially in Bengaluru where people deny racism Legally you can’t beat up a cop even if they’re threatning your life. You can beat up another citizen but doing the same to a cop will land you in prison for a decade even if the cop was at fault. Police officials get immunity from this “self defence” thing. Until and unless the cop isn’t shooting at you in broad daylight, there’s nothing you can do. OP can get himself killed with such rowdy and reckless behaviour, he was lucky it was a cop. He’ll probably think twice before threatening someone with a knife again.
