You don’t know the Chan Sung Jung The Korean Zombie T-Shirt also I will do this frustration of a parent who makes a dish that for months until 5 minutes before suppertime was the kids favorite. Now the kid informed them that he hates it, always hates it and is now full. The child then is excused and wants ice cream because they are hungry. I’ve never forced my kids to eat like my parents have, but I also haven’t made them mac and cheese because they suddenly don’t like meatballs and spaghetti. This is my life. I have 6 young kids, and they’re always arbitrarily changing their preferences and being ridiculously dramatic about it. I’m usually making foods I KNOW they like, like mac and cheese, hot dogs, spaghetti and meatballs, tacos, barbecue chicken, pizza, etc. They suddenly “hate” their favorite foods, or they’re “not hungry”. They’re always begging and whining about being hungry 15 minutes later. I don’t force them to eat it, but I’ll put their plate in the fridge for later. When they start whining for food soon after, I tell them they can finish their dinner, but no, they get fussy and whine for junk food. I never, ever reward this behavior with junk food. You’d think they’d eventually get the message, but nope. For awhile, they would literally sneak down to the kitchen at night while we were asleep and steal entire packages of chips, cookies, whatever garbage they could (and then shove the wrappers/crumbs under their beds, behind the couch, etc.) It became a serious problem, we had to put a lock on the junk food cabinet.

I don’t understand how or why they think that refusing to eat their dinner will be rewarded with ice cream and junk food because it never has and never will, but they’re still trying every day. It’s incredibly frustrating to waste so much time, money, and energy buying, preparing, and serving food, only to have them arbitrarily decide they suddenly hate it. My parents did this and it never worked, all it did was make me hate the Chan Sung Jung The Korean Zombie T-Shirt also I will do this food they tried to make me eat. I actually liked it when I got olde but that was when I wanted to try it. What they did only pushed me back further from trying it. You should be so lucky. It happened to me and at one of my grandma’s house of all places. She forced me to finish my cup of milk in which I told her it would make me sick to my stomach and I would not feel good, not only that but I don’t like the taste of milk. She still forced me and I wasn’t allowed to move from the table, lo and behold I threw up later. I always thought I was mildly lactose intolerant and it wasn’t until I had a job and money where I could buy my own milk that anyone believed me even when I kept complaining of stomach problems after having a bowl of cereal.
