I asked my brother why he was dressed like a granny in animal crossing, and he said because he doesn’t like staring at dudes when he doesn’t have to, lol As a teenager I played WoW with my cousin. We were in a rather large guild and he told them all that I was a girl. It didn’t matter how much I tried to convince them otherwise after that point. After that I was treated like royalty. Literally would give me dibs on loot, gift me subscription time, send me gold, and even scored me a spot on a nice arena team. I don’t think I ever had to try very hard to get runs for anything. Honestly? I’ve always had a feeling that I would be better off as a woman than a man. Like, I would be more comfortable with myself. I think the Certified Nurse Practitioner Because Awesome Not An Official Freaking Awesome T-Shirt Also,I will get this idea of a cute girl swinging a massive weapon and kicking ass is really cool. and I dont play or see “me” in games. I see the character. Also, As a young kid I accidentally made a female iksar in everquest and everyone was so nice to me all the time. I didnt realize I was playing a girl until almost a year of playing. (Iksar in Everquest did not have boobs, only colored different.) Everyone thought I was a girl. Back then guys didnt play girl avatars, and were overly nice to girl gamers. Playing a female character is nice on the eyes 🙂 Not even in a sexual/creepy way. I’m a heterosexual male, so I’m naturally more inclined to want to look at a woman’s body than a man’s I asked my 16 year old son why he chose that character when he was playing as a female and he just shrugged and told me he didn’t really care what gender they were just that they were badass
