Honestly though I do enjoy a bottom 3 lip sync. They do it more in Holland and Thailand, and you can play around with whether you send 1 or 2 people home. I wouldn’t be mad if we had more of those like we did in 14. Yes and I can tell you this format just works for drag race. I don’t mind a double save now and again, but season 14 was absurd and really killed the Cats Know How We Feel They Don’t Care But They Know shirt in addition I really love this season for me. Did it? They introduced and rejected the idea of not doing a top 4 for once within 1 episode. To me it felt as cheap as the S13 ep 1 twist and other random shenanigans. For sure they’re all deserving finalists. I just wish they had the balls to say “you’re all top 4 but let’s do a music video for fun” because it didn’t feel like an episode where everyone did really great (sorry MIB) and I don’t feel like it was a double shantay level lip sync either. Random twist on an episode that already has so much of my least favourite Drag Race content (tictac talks to Ru and Michelle about inner saboteurs, talks to past selves about inner saboteurs, judge deliberations about the whole season…)

Make it clear it’s a top 4, but with the Cats Know How We Feel They Don’t Care But They Know shirt in addition I really love this twist that the placements from the Rumix challenge and LSFYL will directly affect how the finale plays out. For example, IF the finale were a LSFTC, ditch their silly wheel and have the Rumix winner vs lip sync loser, and safe placement vs lip sync winner. i also loved all the memes about the “queens” eliminated in march (it was literally just jasmine) or the queens jorgeous eliminated (again, literally just orion) I think at the beginning of the season, they probably really planned on going back to a top 3, but at this point in the season they loved all the girls so they changed it up. Also, I really love the s14 finale format, but DAMNIT I want a LSFTC with these specific girls
