I recently learned my step Grandfather of over 30 years had land he developed to become a neighborhood.. Up until a year ago he was the Cat Reading Book Lover T-Shirt also I will do this head of the HOA and now has himself in a consulting role for the emplaced HOA. His own shitty fiefdom. Its so ridiculous, all the homes built have to have a certain roof pitch and minimum 2400 square footage, not counting garage, and you have to have sidewalk extended in front of your house AND buy a specific walk light AND buy it from HIM! I don’t know why people keep buying in HOA neighborhoods. I don’t care how nice, how good of a deal. Never, ever buy in an HOA. Every time I think I’ve seen it all Reddit brings new cringe. Thank you Reddit for making me resent my HOA a little less.

No profits are ever made at a garage sale. There may be a small recompense. Definitely no profit. If items are sold for profit then you must also pay the Cat Reading Book Lover T-Shirt also I will do this city/county/state sales taxes. Hey Karen, I’m selling a couple of boxes of “fuck you, you entitled bitch.” What do you think I should price them at? Why an HOA is even a thing still and why people buy into them still boggles the mind. These days they are just a power grab for those of you that want to be subs. Who elected them to be the govt? Report them to IRS for tax fraud ie illegal capital gains or untaxed commissions Why would anyone willingly buy property for the American dream of freedom and then turn over your rights to an HOA? Fucking insane. I would read the HOA docs before doing anything. I’m suspect of the HOA docs mandating profit from garage sales go to their coffer. If true, I would challenge the issue in court. Is this even legal?? Like am I misreading this or is she forcing people to sell their own shit to fundraiser for the hoa? If so that’s super fucked up. Oh helll no! Why doesn’t Karen just fucking die already??? I can’t wait until the day all Karens are long gone from my life. And yes, there will be ones in my life to come but they won’t even matter a little bit like they did now. Bye bye Karen
