We’re in the Carl Fogarty English former motorcycle racer 1995 Donington T-Shirt Besides,I will do this middle of a mass extinction and climate change we can feel/sense, in the form of anomalous weather, is an indicator of “living” (some actually living systems, others buffers created by life but not alive) buffer systems exceeding their capacity. Humanity cannot survive on earth without these buffer systems, and every year we break more of beyond repair… either through permanent destruction or through our demonstrated lack of will or ability to change our behavior that’s breaking the system. Our behavior/lifestyle in the “developed” world is the problem and has been since we started powering everything with fossil fuels (1960 was when we really started living wrong). The “development” we talk about when we talk about the west is actually destruction of the entire planet, trading the stability of a planet for profit inside a system that doesn’t charge for the extinction gases coming out of exhaust pipes.

The ubiquity of exhaust pipes has made them hard to acknowledge for the Carl Fogarty English former motorcycle racer 1995 Donington T-Shirt Besides,I will do this damage they’re doing, but each is the equivalent of the same diameter of pipe subtracting life from the planet and its future. But, in the same way it’s hard to blame childhood exposure to carcinogens to an adult cancer, even if it’s a causal link, we can’t seem to accept that every exhaust pipe that releases fossil carbon is effectively releasing cancer, disease, wildfires, and generally hellish conditions which increase in their impact over time, despite the utility of the work they do being necessarily temporary to generate profit. Tl;dr – we’re already going extinct because every day we’re given an opportunity to do something different and instead choose to continue what we were doing the day before, which is gassing the planet to death. Every exhaust pipe releasing fossil carbon is sucking life out of the planetary system, which humanity relies on to buffer it and its crops from parasites, disease, weather, and even earthquakes. This is a paradigm committed to an act of evil, on the level of genocide on a global scale (ecocide), that will make every historical act of human cruelty seem like kittens playing by comparison. Apparently, we won’t realize this until we’re, ourselves, starving, which means either western capitalism is inherently evil or humans lack the morality or free will to decide not to leave a legacy as a member of a supervillain democracy.
