I agree with Nudist comment, from your replies it seems like you want to keep your inner critic and grudges. Well, it’s ok, it’s your mind, your body, your life, your grudges, if you’re ok with it and it works you’re free to choose it. It feels like you’re looking for an easy solution to shut off your critic while you use him to power your life – be it overly critical to yourself or others (aka your grudges). It doesn’t work this Carl albert high school alumni shirt and I love this way. You either find different motivations or keep giving your critic more power. There is no easy tangible solution. Only slow and steady step by step mental work and constant effort of taking it easy on yourself and others and therapy and mindfulness excercises. It takes looooong time, dedication, and willingness to acknowledge that situation needs to change, your fuel and source of your drive needs to change. Or maybe it doesn’t, up to you.

There is no will or control when it comes to emotions ot thoughts, you can’t just make them go away. But there are tools and techniques like distraction, redirection, change of perspective, etc that can be used to rewire your thought patterns and make your inner critic more chill or less pervasive. Takes long time and persistence though and definitely a lot of self-compassion and self-reflection.
