Every time I feel lazy, I like to think that there’s an alternate reality version of myself that decided to work out. That fills me with enough spite to get me through my workouts every time. I will not lose to that fucker. My general motivation is that it makes me feel good mentally and physically and let’s me escape from the Camera Never Lose Focus T-Shirt Also,I will get this day to day stresses. Once you build a routine of just going to the gym consistently, you’ll be disciplined enough to just go even if you feel super unmotivated. And trust me, there are days where I wanna skip but discipline kicks in and I feel great afterwards post workout. PS commercial gyms are not the same as privately owned gyms. There’s more of a sense of community in a privately owned gym. Everyone knows everyone etc. I got into the worst physical shape of my life during the pandemic. And this combined with my depressing downfall of academics and other factors fucked me up. I felt cornered and started working out as a ‘do or die’ for my self worth. Now, it’s become a way of life. While seeing the amazing changes my body has gone through motivates me all the time, it’s also like a habit for me at this point. Exercise has started feeling like a form of meditation for me.

I promised myself I would go to the Camera Never Lose Focus T-Shirt Also,I will get this gym every single day, even if I walked in the door and immediately walked right back out. But that never happens. It’s how I relieve my body of stress. I go to a boxing club where you do take group classes working out on a heavy bag (100 pounds). It’s my version of self care lol And no, you don’t punch other people in the class. Purely bag work and some resistance training. Title boxing is what it’s called. I fear catching a disease or dying young though exercising is not an insurance against these, I feel it gives me an advantage. Besides I’m a runner and I think running is badass and that keeps me going. Fear of dying young. Love of food. Seriously getting away from everything and clearing my head. Feel shitty/stressed – go for a run or a ride. I treat it as a routine without obsessing too much about the result. Consistency is key. Even if I don’t want to, I’ll force myself. You can’t always rely on motivation since you will always have days where you’ll be more motivated than others. Discipline is what gets you most stuff done anyways. Can’t stand the thought of being obese again. Plus, everyday life just feels better. The more cardio I do the better I feel my brain functions. I started to realise that the more I workout, the wider my shoulders and the bigger my arms get, people start noticing me.
