Along with ridiculous rent prices they now want me to pay an extra $10 to cover the cost of a direct bank transfer. Want to piss them off? Pay cash and demand a receipt. They have to accept it, as legal tender. Regardless of what their policies are. You can film it and ask them if they are refusing to accept your rent payment. Boom free rent. Take a pic of the check/MO/whatever and email it to yourself. Combine with bank statement showing processing if applicable. Proof of payment made, done. Can you do bill pay through your bank? They will send a printed paper check if the receiving account doesn’t take electronic payments. We do this for a couple of our monthly bills.

“Cashless business” we can’t get a single cell phone to be made in America but god forbid someone pays for something with a little undocumented exchange of currency. The bank fees & card fees are forcing more and more businesses to say hell no to credit cards to keep cost down. All those fees for any service, Ahem, doordash ahem, are bank/card fees.
