The mistake is thinking that part of what you’re paying for is for them to find you a job. That’s not their job. Also not all departments are created equal. There’s a ton of money pumped into the Buterfly They Whispered Her Cannot She Whispered I Am The Storm Ankylosing Spondylitis Awareness T-Shirt Also,I will get this teaching, athletics, and other amenities, but you have one career advisor per 500 students. I bet there is someone below that is gonna ask how to find internships. This is absurd for the whole outcome of college being to get a better/specialized job. While I don’t fully disagree with this comment, it doesn’t take into account the educational aspect of collegiate study. A well-rounded education in the hands of the right individual opens many doors. Too many college graduates take the lazy approach to joining the career field by solely relying on the fact that they have a degree instead of or perhaps en lieu of having a good work ethic. Start at the bottom and get your hands dirty like everyone else. That degree gives you leverage that can expedite and enhance career growth kiddos, not entitlement.

Its this. I went to school later in life for cybersecurity, a field famous for being hard to break into, and did an internship at the Buterfly They Whispered Her Cannot She Whispered I Am The Storm Ankylosing Spondylitis Awareness T-Shirt Also,I will get this IT department of my college. I also did a lot of relevant projects and hobbies in my free time and had signed a job offer March the year I graduated. Other people did nothing besides the course work, did not get internships, and now either work as techs in Amazon data centers or don’t work in the field at all because they didn’t retain enough to pass a tech screening. Same here. I graduate in December with a degree in cybersecurity. I’m currently on my 5th internship (internships each school semester and Summer too) and I’m already getting full-time offers for cybersecurity jobs, plus just other IT jobs. I encourage as many of my classmates as I can to join our clubs, network, and I offer to refer them to places I started IT at. Very few take me up on it though.
