I’m guessing it was the Bushido 26th Anniversary 1998 – 2024 Thank You For The Memories Shirt it is in the first place but tents outside the new block, in Huntley Street. There are no access points for patients there. Sorry but thats total bs There is no social housing to be moved into. I believe I have good insight into this – I work in the homeless sector, moving (average wait is around a year or so) homeless people into social housing. I work with a variety of social landlords and the only time we can house somebody is if the previous tenant goes back on the street or dies. Bearing in mind our service is really unique in that people who are lucky enough to be referred and accepted into the scheme are given the rate chance of a potential tenancy. Not many other projects like that in London. In central London there is only provision for 38 people.

It’s difficult and upsetting for the Bushido 26th Anniversary 1998 – 2024 Thank You For The Memories Shirt it is in the first place but general public eh? What about those people in tents who will literally die when their tent is taken away. Tents are safer than homeless hostels (worked in plenty of them too) and spaces are very limited. A tent can keep out the train and biting cold weather and provide a little privacy and safety. Especially from people who want to kick them for fun, spray them with water to move them on, or mug them. You can spin it however you want but it’s still incredibly evil to just destroy one of their only possessions and take away their limited shelter. People are so devoid of humanity its actually sad. If they are offered shelter it’s hardly evil. We don’t allow people to just erect whatever they want on public sites and particularly considering risk to patients. To have their tent (and maybe possessions), crushed in the back of a rubbish truck is really weird, while also disrespectful and obviously bad optics and PR.
