My dad can’t toast bread unsupervised so my mom does all the Bullhead wild west western cowboy funny classic shirt Also,I will get this cooking. Dad does everything else, like setting tables and pouring drinks and cleaning up. They just celebrated 50 years anniversary. Not cooking isn’t a problem, it’s the inequitable distribution of labor that is. I’m currently pregnant with my first child, a boy. Everyone says raising boys is easier than raising girls. Based on most men I’ve ever dated, it’s definitely because all these people were half raising their boys and sending them out into the world for their wives to finish the job. Early on it already sounded like there was more than just not being able to cook, but then reading that one experience… my god, that cannot be real life. Normally if you know you can’t cook, at least you can try your best to help on other chores or try something? I would snap too tbh. Dude’s not worth stressing over. While I’d also be somewhat intimidated by the receipe, I still would have tried my damnest, cooking is fun! And watching people enjoy it makes it worth it. Dude that sucks. Like I’m a shitty cook but even I could do that or make tea and stuff. Sounds like your dude wanted to fail so you didn’t ask him again. Do what’s best for you and your kids pal. Respect.
