Last time I was asked to hang out was in middle school. It’s not like I was weird or a dick to people, I’m quite easy to get along with and very laid back. I still had lots of friends onward but I was never asked to do anything after school, hang out somewhere, or go places on breaks. It wasn’t like I was asked and said I couldn’t go, I was just never asked. I just accepted it and played games instead. Edit: ^ that last part isn’t a bad thing btw. I rather enjoy doing that or reading a book to enjoy my free time. It does remind me that I’m fine with going to grab dinner with a friend but I wouldn’t want to just go to his place and watch a bunch of anime like we used to do as kids. I see on reddit all the time people saying ‘I’m too anxious to ask my friends to do stuff, so I need them to be the ones to do it, but they rarely do. They don’t know what’s going on in my mind.’ Also, acknowledging you have an issue is only the first and least important part. The bigger part is taking steps to fix it.

My introverted side wants to do this. But if I stay in too long I get depressed so I make myself go out every once in awhile for my sanity. I am married and have a kid and it feels like I have so little free time that any new friend I would want to make, I’d want to have similar interest to, like someone who likes the Built By Black History Melanin Black History Month T-Shirt In addition,I will do this same games, preferably isn’t married so they are free all of the time (so that the random times I’m free they are available), and doesn’t have issue playing a game with someone who might not have much time. If it’s any work at all for me, its probably not going to work. I know that’s dumb, one aided, etc, but when you get older and have less time you are pickier. I have some friends but everyone has full time jobs with different with different hours, and nobody seems to be available at the same time, and nobody wants to play the same games (or try new ones) But those people that are “constantly tired” are just lock-ins. If you spend your time outside, walking the dog talking to strangers, living life. You start to get healthy and have more energy. Those people that complain about going out but make excuses when you ask them are stuck in a sad loop.
