I wish more people realized this. It’s not a racism thing (well mostly, we do have white supremacists in police ranks); it’s a class thing. As it stands now, the Brunson New York Knicks cartoon shirt Besides,I will do this best thing to do when you get arrested or interact with a cop is to comply with commands (get out the car, show hands, etc…), show ID and DON’T answer questions until you get a lawyer. You know the thing where they say they will help you out if you comply? All it is, is a testimony in court should it go that far. But you should view the testimony from a cop the same as a testimony from John Doe. They’re not there to help you and too few people realize this. They are fully capable of both being a defense for the property of the wealthy, and a means by which minorities are suppressed. Equal isn’t even enough. As enforcers of the law, they know it better than anyone. Penalties should be harsher for LEOs.
