There are now actual panties intended to absorb period blood, but I’d think anyone who uses those is dealing with the Brother bear once you love someone they stay in your heart forever shirt in addition I really love this rise and wash themselves. I’d wager as a lady that most people who bleed have normal, but dark-colored panties they don’t mind staining a little bit. Period blood ruins light colored panties. Lately, in the past ten years or less, special panties have come out which help prevent bleed-thru. IMO they’re a bit gimmicky when normal panties and a pad will do just fine most the time. Not sure the women in your life want to talk about it for your benefit after keeping it mostly secret their whole lives but I’d be keen to know the results. Haha we’re not shy about normal bodily functions, so it’s fine to bring it up. I regularly hear them mention their heavy flows, and I often buy their pads and panty liners for them. I also regularly handle their clean underwear because I hang them up to dry, take them down and fold them, so I highly doubt any of them are keeping it a secret from me. I’ll let you know what they say! If you’re not seeing any stains, they’re probably just good at washing it out right away. The most effective time to remove blood from clothing is before its had a chance to dry, so those underwear probably never even made it into the laundry basket until they were pre-washed.

It’s just a matter of preference, really. I don’t know about you, but pads are the worst thing ever invented for me. Constantly scrunching up, uncomfortable and never staying where it’s supposed to. I only wore them after child birth. They were horrible. I usually had a light flow so I didn’t need backup, but if I did, I would definitely have tried these
