What sucks is Enterprise did that to me last September. The corporate office said I could get a car and directed me to the Broadmoor high school alumni shirt and I will buy this closest office which didn’t have any cars available. I had to call every other office…which…also didn’t have cars available! But corporate said they did! Sorry about what happened to you I would still report the original location to the platform. An a/c could break anywhere, but the house still shouldn’t be dramatically different from the photos, AND not being maintained (bugs, lawn, etc). You are also able to leave a review bc the cancelation happened after check-in time. But I would work with the platform and worry less about the review. The host should be required to prove that it’s the same place in the listing, and that it’s being properly maintained.

If it hadn’t been a holiday weekend, the Broadmoor high school alumni shirt and I will buy this replacement property process would have worked much better. But just like when you reserve a car and then someone doesn’t return theirs on time and there are less cars available, all Hertz can do is refund you and say ‘good luck’. They can’t magically conjure up more cars, nor can a hotel OR Airbnb conjure up more rooms during peak demand. It really sucks that this host put you in a position of not having a valid accommodation, though. I’d try VRBO or Houfy, next time you need a yard and private hot tub. I personally think ABB is a nightmare on both sides of the equation, as your cust svs experience proved. Very sorry that happened to you! If you decide to come to PHX, you can book my place direct and I promise it will look just like the photos. 😉 Hah, if your rental was prepaid, even if they don’t have a car Hertz will (try to) not refund you, “no refunds on prepaid rentals”.
