I read the Brennan Armstrong QB1 American football quarterback T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this rest of the article and it’s incredibly frustrating. Basically she complains (rightly) about how parenting is more atomized and dissolving social bonds have the knock on effect of making child rearing super alienating/insular. However, this is all coming from a woman who can’t be arsed to get to know her neighbor. A woman who literally chose to make her child’s upbringing even more atomized and insular by doing it alone. She is the avatar of her own critique of society at large and totally oblivious to that fact. She wants all the help she can get with child rearing, but doesn’t want the social obligation of a co-parent. I feel bad for the kid because they are absolutely not being raised well by this myopic Karen.

The same people who write this kind of article about nobody helping them are the Brennan Armstrong QB1 American football quarterback T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this same people that also write articles about how they aren’t obligated to do anything at all for anybody else ever. Pure ass narcissism. This was my immediate thought. If she isn’t saying “I offer to help any time I see him with bags” then she can shut the fuck up. Yeah I read the article as well. When she talks about how she’s part of a movement to reclaim the village model of parenting shouldn’t she be asking the people in the movement for help? The people who have the same views on how to do things should be your village. Not some random ass person that you know nothing about. Not the mention the first people in the village model that would help is your own damn family. Your parents helping raise your children because their parents did the same for them. Your brothers/sisters helping out because you do the same for their kids when they need it.
