Seriously, if drunk sex is rape, then I’ve been raped hundreds of times. I’m an alcoholic, the majority of times I have sex I’m drunk, including in long term relationships. Every time I’ve had sex with someone for the first time, I was drinking (and most of the time so were they). Bars, clubs, parties, college in general, everyone is trying to hook up, and alcohol is used to make the whole process less stressful or more fun. I can’t believe anyone is trying to say this with a straight face, when 99% of people have hooked up with someone consensually they met at the bar, club, a house party, etc.

There is a pretty obvious difference between getting drunk with someone and then having consensual sex, and purposely taking advantage of someone who is blackout drunk.
