Their success on the field was matched by their popularity in Boise and throughout Idaho. The Pilots’ home games at Borah Field were a social event, drawing thousands of fans eager to cheer on their hometown heroes. The team’s roster featured a mix of local talent and promising prospects, including future Major League Baseball stars such as George Kell and Eddie Mathews.

Despite their on-field success, the Pilots faced financial challenges throughout their existence. The team struggled to compete with larger, more established clubs in the Western League.
