Side note, this Body under construction T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this guy sounds apocalyptically useless. I struggled to cook anything when I was living away from parents, but my (now wife) taught me and i was willing to learn. My cooking isn’t great, but I can shop for ingredients and prep a few basic meals. Bro can learn to cook on youtube. At this point anyone that doesnt know how to cook is a useless idiot. Just this week i made my first biscuits from scratch. They were sad biscuits, but they were biscuits. Next time, they will be good biscuits. Thank you youtube. Absolutely not! I’ve been dating my guy for almost 3 years now, he’s 10 years older than me and when I say he couldn’t cook I mean not even boil water. And in a few weeks he’ll be making dinner for our 3 year anniversary. I feel like it takes will to want to learn, and what I love is that when I’m cooking he’ll stand around ready to chop, flip, fry, stir, and etc. I sense your ex just found a well established woman and wanted to leech instead of being a partner. You’re looking for a partner, not another child to adopt. I cook way more than my gf does, but we’re a team in everything we do.

People who focus on the Body under construction T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this cooking are missing the point of this. If this person can’t be trusted to pick up after themselves or figure shit out on their own like “where is the bacon? how do I turn on this oven?” they aren’t going far in life and will inevitably hold you back, or worse, put you in a compromised position down the line. What if you want to go on a trip with your friends and need him to look after the kids one day? You gonna have to coach him through how to do laundry and turn off the TV? Get the fuck out of here with that. You did the right thing. Also, for the men who think it’s ok to keep asking what to do for their partner instead of anticipating what needs to be done should read this:Guy checking in. Reading just the title, I wanted you to go get a verdict from r/AmITheAsshole. However, I kept reading and yeah he’s a lazy piece of shit.
