IDK either my friend. It’s the Bobby Knight Court General Life Mentor Shirt but in fact I love this internet, for all we know this shit could all be made up and we’re spending time analyzing a text exchange someone made up. lol. They didn’t say that though? They wholly admitted the person should find someone better than them and admitted to being unable to maintain personal hygiene, and THEN wished them the best of luck. Younger me had so many depressing arguments with guys trying to date me who also couldn’t manage this much and almost every one of them would say some variation of that. Or the alternative: “no guy can measure up to what you want!” when all I was asking for was baseline respect and decency. I used to have terrible breath due to impacted wisdom teeth, trust me I know. I’ve finally gotten it under control in the last year. Getting my wisdom teeth out was probably the biggest game changer for me. It’s been a boost in confidence forsure but I still have that lil demon on my shoulder telling me my breath still smells.

One thing I have learned in life is that I don’t have to be the Bobby Knight Court General Life Mentor Shirt but in fact I love this best looking guy but being a hygienic guy will give you a big edge in the dating scene. Hey, it all worked out. You can each find someone more suitable! But on a more serious note, who raises these people? Honest answer: probably no one. The majority of people I know who have issues with basic hygiene, have those issues due to varying degrees of neglect throughout their childhood. That’s anecdotal of course, but most of these habits are formed (or in this case not formed) in early childhood. Mental health issues will do it to you as well. I brushed my teeth three times a day for years while I was young, but depression getting real bad made me drop the habit for a long time.
